“But Jenni, what if I’m mostly doing pretty well with my finances, and I have most things under control, but I just need help in a specific area?”
Well done, that’s great! Some people want to join me for a few weeks of 1:1 coaching or take part in my group program [coming soon] to work on their finances from bottom to top, but some people only need a little strategy session to get them on the right track.
If that sounds like you, then my Money Surgery is for you!
Some people come to me with a very specific issue:
- maybe you’re great at saving money, but you haven’t quite got the hang of budgeting,
- or maybe you’ve managed to sort out the budgeting for yourself, but you could really use a system for paying off your debt,
- or maybe everything’s breezy in your financial life, and you’d like to start learning how to invest your money and make it work for you (which, by the way, is a fantastic idea!)
Wherever you are, I can help you figure out what the next step is for you, and how to get there.
What type of Money Surgery sessions are available?
When you sign up, you get to pick the type of session that fits your current situation and needs. The options are:
- The Mindset Master
If you find no joy in money, and the mere thought of looking at your finances stresses you out, this is the place to start! We’ll look at your money mindset, how it’s affecting your life, and how to deal with it.
- The Budgeting Badass
Budgets are boring, restrictive, and take all the fun out of life, right? Wrong! If that’s the case, then you’re doing it wrong! I will help you see why you need a budget, how you can make budgeting a simple part of life, and how to set up a budget that works!
- The Saving Superstar
Not sure where all your money goes each month? Or maybe you’re right on track, but need ideas for where to put your savings (hint – “under the mattress” is not a good answer to that question!)? Depending on your needs, we can find the money leaks in your life that are stopping you from saving, create a savings plan, and/or discuss the best place to stash your cash.
- The Debt Destroyer
Debt is a nasty thing, and we don’t want you to have any. But the only way to get rid of consumer debt efficiently is to have a plan. We will take a good, hard look at what sort of debt you’re really in (I suspect you may have avoided looking at it for a while, right?), and come up with a plan that will let you destroy that debt, without having to live off tinned tuna for the next several years.
- The Growth Grabber
If you have your financial house in order, you may have started thinking about how you can make your money grow and work harder for you. But maybe you don’t know where to start, or maybe you think you should be investing, but it all seems a bit complicated and scary? We’ll talk about why you should be investing, and how to get started in an easy way (which won’t require a subscription to the Financial Times!).
- None of the above
Or maybe you’d like to discuss something else altogether? Send me an email at jenni(at)coachingbyjenni.com and let me know what you’re after, and I’ll figure something out for you!
How does it work?
The Money Surgery is a 60-minute session on the topic of your choice.
When you sign up, you pick the topic you want us to discuss.
Sessions take place over Skype.
Each session costs $150 (payable via PayPal at the time of booking).
After you sign up, I will send you a confirmation email with the details for the session, and what details you should have at hand when we speak. After the session I will send you the notes from the session, including a detailed action plan so that you know exactly what to do next.
You will get:
- A whole hour focusing on your money needs
- Advice tailored to your specific situation
- A detailed action plan
- Confidence in how to move forward with your finances

- hate talking about money, and you refuse to even try
- already have a lot of experience in the topic you’ve chosen (like investing)
My name is Jenni and I specialise in helping women master their money and make friends with their finances.
Most of us stress about money because we don’t know where we stand. That’s why I want to help you find financial clarity and know exactly what’s going on, where you want to go, and how to get there.
If you’re not feeling on top of your finances, and you need a hand in a particular area, you’re in the right place! Money doesn’t have to be scary and stressful, it can be fun and exciting, too! Helping women like you see that and make friends with their finances is what I love doing, and seeing the results of my clients when it comes to their relationship with money is such a fantastic feeling!
I help women who feel like they are being held back by their finances to achieve financial clarity and take charge of their money and their life.
I wasn’t always good with money. I used to be pretty crap with it, actually.
When I was a student, I went a bit crazy, and developed a habit of constant travel. I didn’t have much of an income at the time, but I wanted to take several trips abroad each year, and I didn’t let my financial situation stop me from getting what I felt I deserved.
After graduating from university I set up my own business, and suddenly I was in charge of everything; not just paying myself a salary, but also things like pensions, tax and VAT. But I was so used to the high life that I only saw the opportunities of being an entrepreneur, rather than the obligations – and this new world of being an entrepreneur was so full on lovely, shiny things that I just had to have.
And then one day I was hit with an $11,000 tax bill, and I had no money to pay for it.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, I had also racked up a total of $15,500 in credit card debt and student loans.
Things had gone spectacularly wrong, and I found myself hitting rock bottom.
I know I’m not the only one who’s been through this. The difference is, I learned how to change my attitude to money, and I taught myself the skills I needed to get out of the deep hole I’d dug myself into, and to turn my life around.
After what I went through, I realised that I was now in a position where I could help others who were going through the same things. I became determined to help as many women as I could to avoid the financial pitfalls I had experienced and the mistakes I had made.
I now specialise in helping women who feel overwhelmed by their finances to learn how to manage their money and make friends with their finances.
I am passionate about teaching women to take control of their finances instead of hiding from them.
I can teach you how to manage your money and stop hiding from your finances.
Money shouldn’t cause us stress and worry. That’s why I’m offering a limited number of Money Surgery session every month to ladies who have most areas of their finances under control, but just need some super focused help in one or two areas.
“Working with Jenni has been fabulous. I’ve been avoiding facing my financial situation for months now. She has gently encouraged me to get things done, and past that resistance that I was facing. Now that I’ve taken the steps I feel so, so much better. Jenni is really approachable and so easy to relate to – I would recommend anyone who has been avoiding facing their financial woes and getting things in order to speak to her and see how she can help.”

“Jenni is a very inspiring coach! She helped me to see what points of view I have about money, where they come from and how they affect my behaviour with money. The coaching sessions gave me more clarity on what I would like my financial reality to be like. Jenni also helped me to see that investing can really be exciting, and she gave me a lot of practical tips on how to start investing without feeling overwhelmed by it. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and I definitely feel more confident about money and investing now!”
